What Toolkit is Right for Me?

Take away skills, confidence, and and the Tools to Get Started to set up  a Create/Make Station in your school or classroom


  • Make Media Intro Kit (iPad)
    Will include an iPad Mini, Quality Microphone, Tripod, Mount, Apps/Software

  • Make Media with Green Screen
    Already have an iPad?  Take it to the next level with Green Screen, Quality Microphones, Tripods, Mount/ Apps/Software

  • Make Prototypes (Intro to 3D printing)
    Just getting started with 3D printing? This will include an introductory level 3D printer that has been reviewed by Make Magazine as good Intro Level printer.  We are currently looking at The PrintrBot Simple   This level of printer is not designed for heavy classroom use, but is a good starter printer.

    If you would prefer a 3D printer for heavier use, please select the Intermediate Toolkit Option below


  • Make Inventions Kit (Fun with Circuits)
    Will include a combination of (Little Bits,  Arduino, Lilly Pad, Makey Makey).  These will be available at the Institute and you will design the kit that meets the learning outcomes you want for you and your students.

  • Intermediate Toolkits (Designed with Participants)

    Are you interested in an iPad & a GreenScreen?
    Are you looking  to dive right into a classroom-tested 3D printer?
    Would you like to work with your TeamMates also attending the Institute to design a custom Toolkit for your school?
    Would a CNC Milling Machine make more sense for your space?

    Participants choosing this option will work with other educators, makers, and innovators to design a custom kit for their school Maker Station.  The options available will depend on how many people in your team.  Custom designed toolkit will be delivered to your school after the Institute, but sample tools will be available for you to try. 

    Come as a Team of 2 or more participants expands your options for customization. 

    Important note: All tools functionality support and warranty claims will be directly between you and the companies providing the tool and NOT the Create Make and Learn Institute.
